For more than 16 years and more reasons than that, people have joined the Harbour Town Yacht Club for experiences they could find nowhere else on earth. But, each member has an independent way of enjoying the Club. The uniting factor is the spirit here, based on authenticity, fun and appreciation of the beautiful life we have on Hilton Head Island . And impeccable service quietly underlies it all.

For some, it is access to a pied-a-terre in the heart of Hilton Head Island , deluxe accommodations for family, friends and business associates, or purely a place to belong.

For others, the Club with its balcony overlooking the harbour and the sound of the Calibogue, is a setting for life's important events; perhaps a business agreement or a daughter's wedding reception.

For many, the reasons were as simple as the tranquil sight of watercraft, the rhythm of tides and the gentle breezes that embody the Carolina confidence.

Like other private clubs, the Harbour Town Yacht Club may be a bit of a mystery to those who are not members. One natural misconception is that the Yacht Club is for people who have yachts . While slip owners in the Harbour Town marina do belong to the Club, boats are not the main draw for our members.

With several categories of memberships available, the private, members-only Harbour Town Yacht Club presents a unique means to take pleasure from association.
